    This covers the cost for drafting and officially delivering the required legal notice to affected parties.
  • Schedule of Condition
    £420
    per schedule
    We conduct a detailed inspection and create a report on the current condition of the adjoining property. This is often necessary whether the adjoining owner consents or dissents.
  • Party Wall Award
    £900
    per award
    This covers the preparation of the legal document (the "award") that sets out the details of the proposed work and how it should be carried out. This is typically required in cases of dissent or lack of response from the adjoining owner.
  • Hourly Rate
    £180

Consent vs. Dissent Scenarios

Consent Scenario

If the adjoining owner consents to the proposed works, costs may be limited to serving the notice (£90) and potentially a schedule of condition (£420).

Dissent Scenario

If the adjoining owner dissents or fails to respond, a full Party Wall Award is typically necessary. This would include serving the notice (£90), schedule of condition (£420), and the Party Wall Award (£900), totaling £1,410 at minimum.
