£900per awardThis covers the preparation of the legal document (the "award") that sets out the details of the proposed work and how it should be carried out. This is typically required in cases of dissent or lack of response from the adjoining owner.

Consent vs. Dissent Scenarios
Consent Scenario
If the adjoining owner consents to the proposed works, costs may be limited to serving the notice (£90) and potentially a schedule of condition (£420).
Dissent Scenario
If the adjoining owner dissents or fails to respond, a full Party Wall Award is typically necessary. This would include serving the notice (£90), schedule of condition (£420), and the Party Wall Award (£900), totaling £1,410 at minimum.

- In cases of dissent, adjoining owners may appoint their own surveyor, whose fees are typically covered by the building owner (the person initiating the works).
